During the lead up to the transplant surgery, I would scour the internet for others in similar situations, read the story, and then the information would trail off following surgery. I would wonder: ‘What happened?’ Based on our experiences, they likely are back to living healthy ‘normal’ lives. It’s been a while since our last post, and we will start posting some of our organ donation outreach activities here.
On Thursday, Logan was on New Hampshire Public Radio with my long time doctor, Dr. Gordon, and Alexandra Glazier, President and CEO of New England Donor Services. You can listen to the tape of the live broadcast here: http://nhpr.org/post/organ-donation-new-developments-common-misconceptions-and-ever-present-need. The emails and call-in questions were excellent, and caused some very good and thoughtful discussions!

Wonderful! So glad you are both well and that you are sharing your story to inspire others. Jenn
Laurine & Stephen gathered ’round the audio ala radio daze and absorbed the entire cast. Engrossing. Nifty. Cool. Boffo.
