As I’ve mentioned, April is a big month for us. It’s the anniversary of Derek proposing to me, it’s our first tranplantiversary and it’s Donate Life month! We encourage you to talk with your family and loved ones about organ donation. April is your opportunity to share your wishes and give the people you love the opportunity to discuss their wishes.
Being a hero is as easy as checking the box that says: “Yes, I wish to be an organ, eye, and tissue donor.” If you are an organ donor, celebrate yourself this month! You are all our heroes. Happy April!
