We’ve finally made it through three dozen root beers! Honestly, they’re all starting to run together in my brain. I’m sure I’m being influenced by the labels. This label has a good old style comic strip graphic design. This could be a root beer that was consumed on Scooby Doo.
This is a Real Soda brew, but produced under the Monarch Company, Inc. which produces New Age sodas. I’m confused, by the production and distribution scheme, but I wouldn’t go out of your way for this flavor. It’s not bad, but certainly not so unique that you need to find a bottle. The keg brewed flavor is interesting and unique. It’s got a little bite to it on the first few sips but doesn’t last. I’m not a fan of overtly herbal brews without the licorice undertones.
I cheated and looked on some other review sites to get the word herbal. And I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren’t for you meddling kids!
