Getting up in the morning is difficult. I had some concerns that my desire to stay curled up in bed the last few days was related to my health condition. I really don’t think it is. I’ve gathered intelligence from my co-workers and discovered that most of them have recently been suffering from the same affliction and, as far as I know, have not undergone a liver transplant. It’s more likely something else. Some co-workers think it’s due to the two week hiatus from work. I think it’s more nefarious: it’s 2015. Every early morning in 2015 has been dark, and it’s been getting colder. If we continue the obvious trend to the end of January, it will be -40F!!
Being sleepy is the first sign of an impending Ice Age and the desire for the human body to enter hibernation. The temperature data is the icing (pun intended) on the cake. Let me be the first one to warn you that 2015 is the first year of the next Ice Age.
[Note from Logan: I love this post, and I love my husband. He’s mine and NONE of you can have him. I can’t stop and won’t stop laughing. Oh and the .gif was my idea.]
