We don’t have much in the way of photos from the weekend. On Friday Derek did a little social experiment and left a bowl of candy on the front porch with a sign that said: “Please take one.” The bowl of 100 pieces lasted about 45 minutes. We heard a few kids admonish other kids by yelling: “It’s says TAKE ONE!” We’re not sure if one of the kids helped themselves to a huge handful or not.
On Saturday we cleaned the house, Derek went for a run, and then we both went to Target and the grocery store. Thrilling!
Sunday we both did some homework, Derek raked up 6 barrels worth of leaves, we had a lovely lunch with the Janiaks, did some more homework and then finally opened the enormous can of tomatoes we bought a few weeks ago to make a big batch of bolognese.
