Bulldog is another root beer from the Orca Beverage company. I checked their website and counted 12 root beers for sale. Twelve!
Logan and I had this root beer Friday night with some homemade deep dish pizza. I described the flavor as complex, but Logan disagreed. She’s right – it’s not complex, but it’s not a simple wintergreen or licorice flavor. They took a little more time to create the flavor, and it’s one of the better Orca Root Beers. We thought it was the best one so far, but then I remembered Americana which was even better.
The website gives a very accurate description of the root beer:”Award winning honey root beer. Complex flavor blending root beer extracts, vanilla and organic honey. Sweetened with cane sugar, this top rated root beer is a rich blend of all the right ingredients for the perfect root beer flavor experience.” I realize now that I pick out the licorice in root beers and Logan can taste the wintergreen. Neither one of us could accurately pick out the honey flavor.
