Logan found out that we might be sleeping sitting up for a while after surgery. Gravity is not your friend when it comes to organs and stitches. I also learned of gravity’s wily ways in the 1991 movie, A Brief History of Time, where one of Sir Stephen Hawking’s colleagues describes how even Sir Hawking was “overcome by the weak gravitational force of Earth.” With that information in mind, Logan purchased another husband…for both of us! Or, as others call them: bed rest pillows. Unfortunately, the pillow covers arrived with damaged zippers. Instead of being bummed out, we took a trip to Jo-Ann Fabric to buy some fleece and make our own pillow covers.
It’s also important to mention the Tractor Supply Company next to Jo-Ann’s had chicks for sale.
We now have one completed pillow and one almost-complete pillow.
