My Liver Song

I wrote a little song / poem that I played on my tenor banjo for Logan and a friend a few weeks ago.  It goes like this:

Oh Liver, Oh Liver, don’t you quiver

it’s just a diagnosis of liver cirrhosis.

Oh Liver, Oh Liver, I want to liver foriver

without a disease called PSC.

Oh Liver, Oh Liver, don’t be a quitter.

I just need to find a friend of mine

to deliver their liver

by organ donation for a transplantation
