Sadly, no. We will be in separate but likely adjoining surgical suites. I’m calling them suites because it makes it sound like I know what I am talking about. Each of us will have our own surgical team and we will not be together. Which is kind of a bummer actually. I like the idea of holding hands while it’s happening, but I suppose that doesn’t really make much sense. I also don’t think we’ll get to recover together. That also bums me out. But I suppose that’s what phones are for? So we can facetime with each other from our respective hospital beds?
