I did it. I tried the Hood Country Style Cottage Cheese and finished all 170 grams. It wasn’t good.
I disagree with this video that says “Try Cottage Cheese and you’ll agree it’s the only cheese guaranteed to please”.
It tasted like a mix of yogurt and mozzarella cheese, both of which are good, but combined they weren’t. The texture was also off-putting. I like crunchy or soupy. The curds were like couscous but without any ‘bite’ to them. Maybe I got the wrong type of cottage cheese or I was supposed to mix it with something? I would much rather eat 2.64 times as much yogurt to get the same amount of protein. Or, even better, 0.76 times as many peanuts!
